Obituary for Gale Kermeen

Gale Kermeen
Gale Marie Kermeen (Johnson) passed into heaven on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019. Gale was born May 31, 1923. She served her chiropractor-husband and family for 30 years in Waupun, Wisconsin. She and “Doc" moved to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas in October of 1979. They lived there happily until Robert died suddenly of a heart attack on Nov. 10, 1988.
Gale then lived 31 years alone in Fairfield Bay. She was active with the Willing Workers of the Fairfield Bay Methodist church preparing emergency kits for the needy and those suffering disasters. Gale also served with the Women Auxiliary at Indian Rock Village assisting the elderly in the nursing home for many, many hours. She wrote that “her biggest dream was living with God here and in heaven".
Gale is now united with her husband Robert, parents Herman and Esther Johnson, and sisters Kathryn and Lucille. Gale penned this message to her children and grandchildren “when I take that step (into eternity) be happy for me—it will be easy because I sent my heart there long ago. You see, through the mountains, valleys and storms, I have learned to trust Jesus. My wish and prayer are that all of you will walk in the footsteps of Jesus and follow Him. Accept Him to be Lord of your life. He's a wonderful friend and Savior and loves you very much, as I do. Till we meet again!”
