Obituary for John Bachmann

John Bachmann, 80, of Leslie, passed away Thursday June 18, 2015. Born February 3, 1935 to the late Clarence Henry and Amy Belle Sullivan Bachman in Lebanon, IL . John was a U.S. Air Force retiree and a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. John was a member of the Shady Grove Chapel, a past commander of the VFW in Leslie, and a volunteer at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Marilee Dukes Bachmann; children Frank (Hank) Bachmann of Jasper AR, Sue Kellie of Leslie AR, Debbie and husband Tim Klug of Casper WY, John Bachmann Jr. of Little Rock AR; grandchildren; Matthew, David, and Jonathan Klug, Jake, Cole, and Dylan Kelley, Nathan, Forrest, and Katie Bachmann; great-grandchildren Carter Kelley and Noah Bachmann as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Forrest and Charles Bachman.
Visitation will be Sunday June 21 from 2pm to 4pm at the Shady Grove Chapel on Hwy 254.
Funeral Services will be Monday June 22 at 11am at the Shady Grove Chapel with Chuck Stansbery officiating.
