Obituary for Morrison Morgan Jones Jr.
Morrison Morgan Jones, Jr., 82, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. Born August 21, 1931, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts to the late Morrison M. Jones, Sr. and Clementine M. Veronesi Jones. Morrison was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was of the Baptist faith.
By trade, he was a master carpenter and yacht builder for Morgan Yachts in Florida. After retirement, Mr. Jones was an avid shooter and enjoyed working with leather.
Morrison is survived by four daughters: Bobbie Dickey of Bolivar Mo, Trista Fore and Adena Jones both of Clinton and Holley Bethune; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Betty Jones of Massachusetts; and grandchildren Dylan Byers, Kandi Davis, Tiffany Ussery , Zane Jones, Damien Jones, Cobain Jones, Devante Jones, David Jones, and Kennedy Jones. Morrison is also survived by many great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Morrison is proceeded in death by his son-in-law, Joe Fore.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
