Obituary for Richard John Weidanz
Richard John Weidanz, 72, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. Born November 28, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Erwin John and Mary Shaffer Weidanz. Richard was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, were he was awarded three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Richard attended Fairfield Bay Methodist Church; he also enjoyed fishing and boating.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patsy Weidanz; children, Joseph C. and wife Adrienne Murphy of Bella Vista; one sibling, Carol and husband David Neal of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren, Elijah C. Murphy of Bella Vista; many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, Erwin Weidanz.
A memorial service will be held May 25, 2018, 11am, at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Reverend Paul Strang will officiate the service.
