Shirley Jean Knight, 75, of Shirley, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at her home. She was born in Ozark, AR, on December 24, 1938 to the late Harvey and Reldia Walker Mullens. She loved to spend her time fishing and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. She spent her career working in the packaging department at Aromatique.
She is survived by her children Treva Eoff and husband Rodney of Fairfield Bay, Marin Knight and wife Deandra of Greenbrier, Beth Phillips and husband Mike of Greers Ferry, Lisa Bonds and husband Randy of Fox, Tony Knight and wife Geena of Heber Springs, Julie Eubanks and husband Brad of Rose Bud. Shirley is also survived by sisters Betty Deason, Lena Reed, Ouita Teague, and Margaret York of Fort Smith, AR. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, husband Winton "Bill" Knight, son David Knight and 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson and brother Fred Mullens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. Services will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Lynn Garmroth officiating at the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Bradford Cemetery in Shirley. Shirley's grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
