Thurman "Guy" Tomlinson, 78, of Marshall, passed away November 15, 2014, in Harrison, Arkansas. Born May 17, 1936 in Oxley, Arkansas to the late Emerson and Mary Branscum Tomlinson, Guy is a retired maintenance technician from the Sherex Corporation in Mapleton, Illinois. After retirement, Guy was active in many activities. He was a founding member and volunteer at the Ozark Christian Ministries Food Pantry, loved gardening and any kind of charity work. Guy was also very active in his church. He is a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall and started the Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Class.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Julia Dobbs Tomlinson; four sons Tony and wife Susan Tomlinson, Terry and wife Becky Tomlinson, Bill and wife Teresa Tomlinson and Greg and wife Cheryl Stoner; three daughters, Brenda and husband Russell McBride, Annette Coil, Lisa and husband John Walton; one brother, Jim Tomlinson and one sister, Faye Lynn; 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
Guy is proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Haskel (Hack) Tomlinson, Alvis (Dusty) Tomlinson, four sisters, Marie, Olivia, Juanita, and Willa Dean Tomlinson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Walton, Michael West, Jereme Barnes, Damian McBride, Sean McBride and Tyler Pierce. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Members of the Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Class of the First Christian Church.
